Summary

Learn how to submit a leave request in TimeClock Plus (TCP), including selecting the requested date, leave code, and number of hours.

Body

Overview

TimeClock Plus (TCP) allows Northwood Tech employees to submit leave requests for supervisor approval. Once approved, the leave request is automatically added to your timesheet for the applicable date.

Use this article to submit vacation, sick leave, personal leave, or other eligible leave requests.

Prerequisites

To complete this task, you'll need:

  • An active Northwood Tech employee account.
  • Access to MyCampus.
  • Access to the TimeClock Plus (TCP) application.
  • Available leave hours, if applicable.

Before You Begin

Leave requests require supervisor approval before they are added to your timesheet.

💡 Tip: Verify your available leave balance before submitting a request. See the TimeClock Plus (TCP): View PTO Balances article for instructions.

After You Submit Your Request

Troubleshooting

I don't see the Request option

Click the Menu (three horizontal lines) in the upper-left corner to expand the navigation menu.

My leave request isn't on my timesheet

Leave requests are added to your timesheet only after they have been approved by your supervisor.
