Troubleshooting

I don't have an alternate email address on my account

  • If your account does not have an alternate email address configured, or if the alternate email address is incorrect, you will need to submit a Service Desk ticket to have it updated before you can reset your password.

I didn't receive the verification email

  • Check your Junk or Spam folder.
  • Verify you selected Email my alternate email.
  • Wait a few minutes and try sending the code again.
  • If you still don't receive the email, contact the Service Desk.

I no longer have access to my alternate email address

  • For security reasons, you'll need to contact the Service Desk to verify your identity and update your recovery email address.

The verification code doesn't work

  • Make sure you're entering the most recent code you received.
  • Codes expire after a period of time. If your code has expired, request a new one.
  • Enter the code exactly as it appears in the email.

My new password isn't accepted

  • Verify your password contains at least 13 characters.
  • Make sure your password meets any additional complexity requirements.
  • Confirm the password and confirmation fields match exactly.

I reset my password but still can't sign in

  • Wait a few minutes for your new password to synchronize.
  • Verify you're using your Northwood Tech email address.
  • Make sure you're entering your new password, not your previous one.
  • If you're still unable to sign in, contact the Service Desk.

I forgot my Northwood Tech email address

  • Refer to your admissions, enrollment, or onboarding communications, or contact the Service Desk for assistance locating your Northwood Tech email address.
