Overview
Blackboard course availability depends on your student status and when you register for classes. This article explains when you can expect to access Blackboard and view your courses.
Key Information
- Continuing students can typically access their upcoming classes approximately two weeks before the semester begins.
- New students and students returning after more than one semester away can typically access Blackboard approximately two weeks before the start of the upcoming term.
- If you register for a class less than two weeks before it starts, please allow up to 48 hours for Blackboard access and course enrollment to become available.
- Instructors control when their courses become available to students. Some courses are available before the semester begins, while others may not become available until the first day of class.
