Overview
MyNorthwoodTech provides employees with access to student information and academic functions. Faculty and staff use MyNorthwoodTech to view student records, manage course information, enter grades, and perform other student-related tasks based on their assigned security access.
Employees sign in using their Northwood Tech email address, MyCampus password, and Duo Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA).
Key Information
- MyNorthwoodTech is separate from MyCampus.
- Employees sign in using their Northwood Tech ID number and MyCampus password.
- Duo Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) is required.
- Access to features within MyNorthwoodTech is based on your assigned security permissions.
- If you're signing in for the first time, you may need to complete the Sign On Assistance process before accessing MyNorthwoodTech.
💡 Tip: If you haven't enrolled in Duo Multi-Factor Authentication yet, complete the setup before attempting to sign in to MyNorthwoodTech.
Prerequisites
Before you begin, you'll need:
- An active Northwood Tech employee account
- Your Northwood Tech email address
- Your MyCampus password
- A registered Duo authentication device
- An internet connection
Instructions
Sign In to MyNorthwoodTech
- Go to https://www.northwoodtech.edu.
- Click MyNorthwoodTech.
- Click Sign In.

- Enter your Northwood Tech ID number and MyCampus password.
- Click Sign In.

⚠️ Warning: If you receive the message "Your User ID and/or Password are invalid", you may need to complete your initial account setup before you can sign in. Continue to the Set Up Your Account (First-Time Users) section below.
Set Up Your Account (First-Time Users)
- Go to https://www.northwoodtech.edu.
- Click MyNorthwoodTech.
- Click Sign On Assistance.

- Fill in the required information.
- Click Submit.

Troubleshooting
I receive the message "Your User ID and/or Password are invalid"
Try the following:
- Verify that you're entering your Northwood Tech email address.
- Verify that you're using your current MyCampus password.
- If this is your first time signing in, complete the Sign On Assistance process.
I didn't receive a Duo authentication prompt
Try the following:
- Verify that your mobile device has an internet connection.
- Open the Duo Mobile app to check for a pending authentication request.
- Verify that your registered device is available.
- If you've changed phones or no longer have access to your registered device, contact the IT Service Desk.
I forgot my MyCampus password
Try the following:
- Reset your password using the MyCampus self-service password reset tool.
- Wait a few minutes for your password to synchronize before signing in again.
I'm still unable to sign in
Try the following:
- Refresh your browser and try again.
- Try a different supported web browser.
- Open the website in an Incognito or Private Browsing window.
- Contact the IT Service Desk if the issue continues.
