Adobe Creative Cloud: Install the Niveau Grotesk Font

Niveau Grotesk is Northwood Tech's official brand font. Employees can install and activate the font through Adobe Creative Cloud to ensure consistent branding across college documents, presentations, and other materials.

This article explains how to activate the Niveau Grotesk font and verify that it is available in supported applications.

Prerequisites

Before you begin, you'll need:

• An active Northwood Tech employee account
• Adobe Creative Cloud Desktop installed
• To be signed in to Adobe Creative Cloud using your Northwood Tech account
• An internet connection

Instructions

Open Adobe Creative Cloud

1. Open Adobe Creative Cloud.
2. If Adobe Creative Cloud is not installed, install it from Software Center.
3. Verify that you are signed in using your Northwood Tech account.

Activate the Niveau Grotesk Font Family

1. Click Adobe Fonts.
   
    
2. Search Niveau Grotesk and click it.
   
    
3. Click Add Family.
   
    
4. Click Open app.
   
    

Install the Font

1. Click the Fonts (ƒ) icon , in the upper right corner.
   
    
2. Click Install family, next to Niveau Grotesk.
   
    
3. Click Got it.
   
    

Verify the Font is Available

1. Open Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, or another supported application.
2. Click the Font drop-down list.
3. Search for Niveau Grotesk.
4. Verify that the font appears in the list of available fonts.

Troubleshooting

I can't find Niveau Grotesk

Try the following:

• Verify that you are signed in to Adobe Creative Cloud using your Northwood Tech account.
• Confirm that you searched for Niveau Grotesk in Adobe Fonts.
• Verify that you selected Add Family.

The font doesn't appear in Microsoft Office

Try the following:

• Close and reopen all Microsoft Office applications.
• Restart your computer.
• Verify that the font is installed in Adobe Creative Cloud.

I can't sign in to Adobe Creative Cloud

Try the following:

• Verify that you're signing in with your Northwood Tech email address.
• If prompted, select Work or School Account.
• Restart Adobe Creative Cloud and try again.
