Overview
SharePoint sites provide a shared location for accessing department documents, team resources, and other information within Northwood Technical College. Depending on how a site is shared, you may access it through a direct link or by opening SharePoint through Microsoft 365.
This article explains how to open a SharePoint site, find available sites, and troubleshoot common access issues.
Key Information
- You must sign in with your Northwood Technical College account to access college SharePoint resources.
- SharePoint site access is controlled by permissions. Not all employees have access to every site.
- If someone sends you a link to a SharePoint site, you can use that link to open the site.
- If a site does not appear in SharePoint, you may need to locate it using a direct link or request access from the site owner.
📝 Note: Being able to sign in to Microsoft 365 does not automatically give you access to every SharePoint site. You must have permission to access the specific site.
