InterviewStream: Access and Get Started

Overview

InterviewStream is an online interview practice platform available to Northwood Tech students. It allows you to practice answering common interview questions, record your responses using your webcam and microphone, and review your performance to improve your interview skills.

You can also submit completed interviews to an instructor as part of a course assignment or share your recordings with others for feedback.

Prerequisites

Before you begin, ensure you have:

  • An active Northwood Tech student account.
  • A Northwood Tech student email address using your student ID (for example, 12345678@northwoodtech.edu).
  • A device with a webcam and microphone.
  • Internet access.
  • A supported web browser.

What Can You Do With InterviewStream?

InterviewStream helps you prepare for interviews by allowing you to:

  • Practice answering common interview questions.
  • Record and review your interview responses.
  • Improve your communication and interviewing skills.
  • Complete interview assignments for your courses.
  • Share interview recordings with instructors or others for feedback.

Instructions

Access InterviewStream

Follow these steps to access InterviewStream through MyCampus.

  1. Sign in to MyCampus.
  2. Select the InterviewStream icon.
  3. If prompted, register for a new account.
  4. Select your campus location.
  5. Enter your Northwood Tech student email address using your student ID (for example, 12345678@northwoodtech.edu).
  6. Complete the registration process.

Once your account is created, you can begin practicing interviews or complete instructor-assigned activities.

Troubleshooting

I can't sign in to InterviewStream​​​​​​​

  • Verify you're signing in through MyCampus.
  • Confirm you're using your Northwood Tech student email address in the correct format.
  • Try signing out of MyCampus and signing back in.

My webcam or microphone isn't working

  • Verify your browser has permission to access your camera and microphone.
  • Close other applications that may be using your webcam or microphone.
  • Test your webcam and microphone before starting an interview.

InterviewStream won't load

  • Refresh your browser.
  • Clear your browser cache.
  • Try using a different supported web browser.
  • Verify you have a stable internet connection.
