Northwood Tech students can create a free Grammarly account using their Northwood Tech email address. Grammarly provides writing assistance tools that can help identify grammar, spelling, punctuation, and other writing issues.

Prerequisites

Before you begin, you'll need:

  • An active Northwood Tech student account.
  • Your Northwood Tech email address.
  • Access to your Northwood Tech email.
  • Internet access.
  • A supported web browser.

Instructions

Create Your Grammarly Account

  1. Go to Grammarly, or sign in to MyCampus and click the Grammarly icon.
  2. Click Sign up.
  3. Enter your Name.
  4. Enter your Northwood Tech email address.
  5. Create a Password.
  6. Click Sign up.
  7. Check your Northwood Tech email for a verification message from Grammarly.
    • Check your spam or junk folder if you don't see the message.
  8. Follow the instructions in the email to verify your account.
  9. Sign in to Grammarly.

Your Grammarly account is now ready to use.

Troubleshooting

I didn't receive the Grammarly verification email

Try the following:

  • Check your inbox and spam or junk folder.
  • Verify that you entered your Northwood Tech email address correctly.
  • Wait a few minutes and check your email again.
  • Try requesting another verification email from Grammarly.

I can't create my Grammarly account

Try the following:

  • Verify you're using your Northwood Tech email address.
  • Make sure all required account information has been entered.
  • Try using a different supported web browser.
  • Close your browser and try creating the account again.

I can't sign in to Grammarly

Try the following:

  • Verify you're using the email address associated with your Grammarly account.
  • Verify you're entering the correct Grammarly password.
  • Use the Forgot password option if you don't remember your password.
  • Try signing in through the Grammarly Sign-in page.
