Overview
This article provides a step-by-step guide for installing Northwood Technical College’s official font, Niveau Grotesk, using Adobe Creative Cloud. It walks users through accessing Adobe Fonts, activating the font for use, and confirming it is available across supported applications, ensuring consistent branding in all college materials.
Prerequisites
- An active Northwood Technical College employee account
- Adobe Creative Cloud Desktop app installed and signed in
- Internet access
Instructions
For best results close all Microsoft applications before proceeding.
Add Font Family in Adobe Creative Cloud
- Open Adobe Creative Cloud.
- If you do not have Adobe Creative Cloud installed, you can install it from the Software Center.
- Click Adobe Fonts.
- Search Niveau Grotesk and click it.
- Click Add Family.
- Click Open app.
Install & Use Font in Microsoft Applications
- Click the Fonts (ƒ) icon , in the upper right corner.
- Click Install family, next to Niveau Grotesk.
- Click Got it.
Confirm it Installed
- Open Word, Excel, PowerPoint (etc.).
- Click the font dropdown.
- Search for Niveau Grotesk.
Troubleshooting
- Make sure you are signed into Adobe Creative Cloud with your Northwood Tech email (choose “Work or School account” if prompted)
- If the font is not showing in Microsoft applications, restart the application
- If it still does not appear, restart your computer
